Downtown Holcomb
Paul took this photo of downtown Holcomb in the late 1940s. On the south side of the Main Street, to the left, was the Hamlin National Bank, Nick Lakis' soda fountain, the IGA market, the phone company, and Bennett's hardware. On the north side, to the right, was Mort Allen's Market Basket store and the U. S. Post Office. In the center background is Rayburn's dairy and in the right back ground is Carl Rubinstein's house.
