Condon House
The Bullock family moved from the Cook house to the Condon house in 1935. They had spent just a few months in the Cook house. This place, next door to the Roadside Craftsmen, had no electricity and no indoor plumbing.
This photo was taken by Phil in the 1990s.
This photo of Mom was taken in about 1937 next to the Condon house.
Homer kept pigeons in the barn at the Condon place. One of Cy Murrell's cabins can be seen in the background. Cy operated a gas station, restaurant and cabins next door.
A photo of "ten Bullock men" taken in about 1936 in front of the Condon house. They are: Homer, Edgar, Phil, Joe, Walter, Teall and Herbert "Pete" with Cal, Bob, and Paul standing in front. Walter, Teall, and Pete are Joe's sons. The signs in front of Cy Murrell's gas station can be seen at the right edge of the photo. Mom had written "ten Bullock men" on the back of the print.
This bird's eye view is from 2009 Bing Maps. The Bullock's lived here from 1935 until 1940. The barn and outhouse are no longer there.
