Bloomfield Central School was formed in1939 when the East Bloomfield school was combined with other schools in the area.  
At that time, a new building, accommodating all 12 grades, was built on Oakmount Avenue.  
Bob graduated in 1944, Cal in 1946, and Paul in 1947.

I earned letters in basketball and baseball in 10th, 11th and 12th grades - plus a letter in soccer my senior year.

 

Paul in New York City

In the spring of 1947, the Class of 1947 went on a senior trip to New York City for a few days.  
We stayed at the Hotel New Yorker; here I am standing beside the hotel either on 8th Avenue or 34th Street.
